Jake Needs A Home

Jake is a handsome two-year-old Redbone Coonhound mix in need of a loving foster or forever home. His current foster family is moving and sadly cannot bring him with them. This playful boy had a rough start in life, but he has since learned that people can be kind. Jake's favorite things are cheese, tug of war, and snuggling. True to his breed, he loves to roam outside, but indoors he is very mellow. Jake is fearful of other dogs and should be meet any prospective canine companions in advance. He is also wary of strangers, but once properly introduced he is affectionate and charming. Jake is working with a trainer to overcome his fears and has learned basic commands. He is housebroken, clicker trained, and walks well in a harness. Jake would do best with an experienced family that can continue his training. He would be fine with dog-savvy kids ages 10+. https://www.petfinder.com/pet-search?shelterid=NJ287
